Honda Foundry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information provided to the Company, complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations, and has established the following privacy policy as its basic policy regarding the protection of personal information, and will ensure that all officers and employees are fully aware of this policy and strive to protect personal information.

2. We will specify the purpose of use of personal information as specifically as possible and clearly indicate, notify, or publicly announce it to the person concerned.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
Personal information obtained by the Company will be used within the scope of the following purposes of use in order to carry out the Company’s business activities as set forth below. However, with respect to personal information for which we have separately specified or notified the purpose of use at the time of acquisition, we will use such information within the scope of such purpose of use. If it becomes necessary to use personal information beyond this scope, we will obtain the consent of the individual to such use, except in cases permitted by law.

 ・Pistons, engine and suspension parts, various aluminum castings, and machined products
 ・Manufacture and sale of machine tools, dies, and jigs
(B) Purpose of Use
 ・Manufacture and sale of our products
 ・To respond to inquiries and requests for information materials
 ・Payment and debt management in connection with the Company’s business activities
 ・Management of payments and receivables/debts associated with the Company’s business activities;and
In addition to the above purposes, we may statistically process and utilize customer information obtained by us. In such cases, the information used or provided will not include information that identifies individual customers. The purpose of use of personal information concerning our employees is publicly announced on the company intranet.

2.Disclosure and Provision To Third Parties
The Company will not disclose or provide personal information obtained by the Company to third parties without the consent of the individual to whom the information pertains. However, this does not apply in the following cases:
 (1) When we outsource our business to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
 (2) When disclosure is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question.
 (3) When disclosure of personal information is required by law
 (4) When required by other laws and regulations.
When outsourcing information processing or other operations related to personal information, the Company will thoroughly examine the eligibility of the outsourced company and exercise appropriate supervision to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.

3.Safety Management
We have established internal rules and regulations to prevent the dissipation, loss, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information that we have obtained, and have appointed a person responsible for the management of personal information in each department that handles personal information. In addition, we strive to protect personal information by educating and training our employees and supervising contractors of personal information.
However, due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee the security of information when it is transmitted to us or during the access process. When sending personal information to us, we ask that you do so at your own risk.

4.Inquiries and Corrections
In order to prevent leakage of personal information to third parties, we will respond to inquiries and corrections of personal information that we have obtained, in accordance with the law, only when we are able to confirm the identity of the individual or his/her representative after he/she submits the necessary information in writing, etc., as prescribed by us. The Company will respond to the request in accordance with laws and regulations. Please fill in the necessary items on the request form designated by the Company, attach a document verifying the identity of the person, etc., and send it to the address specified in the “Guide to Procedures for Disclosure, etc.”.
The Company may charge a prescribed fee for handling inquiries, corrections, etc.
